Our Focus

•We focus on the application of bioinformatics in molecular biotechnology research in a multidisciplinary manner. We developed some products, including enzymes, vaccines, and molecular diagnostic kits, and all the above mentions are designed using bioinformatics protein design.

•As a country with a large biodiversity, we have a lot of microorganisms. Saccharomycopsis fibuligera R64 is an enzyme-producing yeast. Alpha-amylase is one of the products that have high activity. To meet the industrial requirement, we have designed this enzyme by modifying the structure.

•Alpha-amylase has been developed since 1993. Starting from characterization optimization, production, purification, chemical modification, upscaling production, utilization of recombinant protein production technology, and application in the food sector have been done.

•We design a new enzyme that has a higher absorptivity to the substrate. We modified some amino acids in the C domain to have more hydrophobic residues, particularly aromatic residues.
